  • Notes 
    • "A Genealogical History of the Clark and Worth Familes": Samuel, b. Feb. 20, 1646; d. May 15, 1732, aet 86; m. May 23, 1671, Elizabeth Titcomb who d. Aug. 26, 1690; 8 chil. He was a Newbury shoemaker, farmer, basketmaker and a "fine Fiddler". A very active and zealous partisan, he aided in the imprisonment of the tyrannical Gov. Andros at Boston; took the oath of freeman in May 1673, and the oath of allegiance in 1678. He was not a Separatist but one of the founders of Queen Anne's Chapel; inherited land at Amesbury from his father.
