    • Application for Sons of the American Revolution: Benjamin Stevens Jr. enlisted for the Revolution, serving in Capt. Abraham Salisbury's Company on an alarm at Pittsford 19 October 1777, and remaining till 23 October 1777, going home on the 25th. His name appears on the Scout list of said company. While in state service he was taken prisoner at Lake Champlain 12 May 1779 and carried to Canada with Ephraim Stevens, losing guns and accoutrements. Exchanged 9 June 1783.
