  • Notes
    • Caroline Victoria (Millette) Terrier's parents were from Paris, France, where her mother had considerable recognition as an artist and portrait-painter of talent. She was first married to a man named Cormier (phonetic spelling from Aunt Hilda's memory) and had two children, a boy and girl. Her husband and the son died after they had moved to Manchester, New Hampshire, and before she married Louis Terrier.

Caroline Victoria's death record says she was 66 years old, born Canada, married, and a housekeeper. Cause of death was heart failure, and both her parents were born in Canada. The year of death written on her death certificate looks like it could be either 1873 or 1893; however, given her age was 66 at death, she would have been considerably older than her husband if she was age 66 in 1873.
