  • Notes 
    • Abraham Olney was living in Sackville, Nova Scotia (now New Brunswick) in 1768 as indicated by Cumberland County Deeds, C:12. [1]
    • "Abraham, b. in Smithfield, R.I., and m. Sept. 27, 1761, Esther Young, probably of Smithfield. He joined the family in Nova Scotia, being one of the proprietors of Tantimar River. He remained in Nova Scotia several years when he returned to Rhode Island for a short period and then went to Vermont. He finally went West, where he died. He had eleven children, several of whom married in Nova Scotia and settled there. The 'Olney Genealogy' states that his descendants are found in Nova Scotia, Prov. of Quebec, Vermont, and in several Western states.
