    • Bridget Yonge, daughter by her father's 2nd marriage. She was a legatee in the 1607 will of her maternal grandmother, Bridget Bonner.

      She married at Holy Trinity, Stratford, Warwickshire 2 November 1609 George Wyllys (or Willis), Gent., of Fenny Compton, Warwickshire, son and heir of Richard Wyllys (or Willis), of Fenny Compton, Warwickshire, by Hester, daughter of George Chambers, of Williamscott, Oxfordshire. He was born about 1590-1 (aged 6 in 1597, 29 in 1619).

      They had one son, George, and three daughters, Mary, Hester (wife of [Capt.] Robert Harding) and Amy.

      His wife Bridget was buried at Fenny Compton, Warwickshire 11 March 1629.

      He married (2nd) Mary Smith, widow of Alexander Bisbie, and daughter of Francis Smith, of Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, by his wife, Alice.

      They had one son, Samuel.

      He immigrated to New England, where he served as a member of the Massachusetts General Court in 1634. He settled in Hartford, Connecticut in 1638. He was one of the framers of the constitution of Connecticut in 1639. He served as Assistant of Connecticut Colony in 1639-40, 1643-4, Deputy Governor of Connecticut Colony, 1641, and Governor of Connecticut Colony in 1642. He was one of the commissioners of Connecticut on the union of the colonies in 1643.
