- Grace Kaye, baptized at Huddersfield, Yorkshire, 3 September 1579 (recorded at Almondbury, Yorkshire).
She married at Almondbury, Yorkshire, 28 November 1609 (as his 1st wife) Richard Saltonstall, Knight, of Huntwick, Yorkshire, and Wragby, Lincolnshire, son of Samuel Saltonstall, of Kingston-upon-Hull, Yorkshire, by his 1st wife, Anne, daughter of John Ramsden, Esq., of Longley near Hothersfield. He was baptized at Halifax, Yorkshire 4 April 1586.
They had four sons, [Maj.] Richard, Samuel, Henry, and John, and two daughters, Rosamond [wife of [Col.] Richard Payne) and Grace (wife of [Col.] Thomas Cooper).
His wife Grace was buried at Wragby, Lincolnshire, 27 June 1625.
He sold Rookes Hall (in Hipperholme), Yorkshire in 1628 to John Whitley.
He married (2nd) before 5 November 1628, Elizabeth West, daughter of Thomas West, Knight, 2nd Lord la Warr (or de la Warr), by Anne, daughter of Frances Knolles, K.G.
They had two sons, Francis and John, and two daughters, Anne and Anne (again).
He attended a meeting of Massachusetts Bay Company in London, 5 March 1628/9. He was elected assistant 13 May 1629, and again 20 October 1629. They immigrated to New England in 1630, where they resided at Watertown, Massachusetts.
He returned to England shortly after 22 March 1630/1, where he resided at Isleworth, Middlesex.
His wife Elizabeth was a legatee in the 1633 will of her mother, Anne West, Lady la Warr.
He married (3rd) about 1640, Martha Cammock, widow of Francis Wilsford, Gent., of Westminster, Middelesex (died 1629), and daughter of Thomas Cammock, by Frances, daughter of Robert Rich, 2nd Lord Rich. She was baptized at Malden, Essex 16 November 1587. They had no issue.
Sir Richard Saltonstall died intestate at Crayford, Kent shortly before 25 October 1661.
His wife Martha died before 25 October 1662. [1]
